The NFL draft is one of the most anticipated days in sports. For those that don’t know, the first round of the NFL Draft consists of 32 teams and each team selects a player from a pool of 256 players. This year, the Falcons drafted wide receiver Kyle Pitts with their 1st round pick.
The madden 21 team ratings is the highest rookie rating on Madden 22. Kyle Pitts has a 90 overall, which puts him at the top of all rookies.

Over the weekend, Madden 22 revealed its top rookie ratings, with Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts receiving the best rating in this year’s class.
Pitts’ rating of 81 is higher than Trevor Lawrence, the No. 1 overall draft selection, who has the second-highest rating of 78.
So far, the rookie ratings have been released as follows:

Since Madden 19, when Indianapolis Colts guard Quentin Nelson earned an 83, no rookie has received a rating higher than 80 ahead of the season.
Former Falcons tight end Austin Hooper had a top score of 85 in Madden 20, but Pitts is expected to outperform him.
The ratings for the remainder of the rookie class have yet to be published.

Pitts was dubbed a “unique player” by Arthur Smith.
Pitts, who can play tight end and wide receiver, was the first non-quarterback off the board when he was selected.
But why did the Falcons choose a different offensive weapon over Matt Ryan’s eventual replacement?
Arthur Smith, the Falcons’ head coach, was recently a guest on “The Chris Collinsworth Podcast with Richard Sherman,” where he discussed why the Falcons chose Pitt above anybody else.
“Kyle is definitely a one-of-a-kind player,” Smith added. “They (Florida) played him all over the place,” says the narrator. I was blown away by him, the video, and what Dan Mullen accomplished and how he was utilized at Florida. Because you’re typically suspicious when you see a tight end rated that high and you study the video and do your homework and realize he’s a one-of-a-kind athlete. He’s capable of more than a conventional tight end. We have great hopes for him, and he has the proper attitude.”
Pitts will be expected to help replace the hole left by Julio Jones, who is currently with the Tennessee Titans, with Atlanta’s top wide receiver, Calvin Ridley.
‘He’s Gonna Be Pretty Legit,’ George Kittle says of Pitts.
George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers, one of the league’s finest tight ends, talked with Heavy over the summer and shared some candid views on Pitts’ potential.
“I feel he should have been chosen first overall, just for fun,” Kittle told Heavy. “I believe he is arguably the greatest athlete in the draft and has been for a long time.”
Pitts, a 6-foot-6, 245-pound tight end with the speed of a wide receiver, was dubbed the unicorn of the 2021 draft by his former head coach Dan Mullen, according to Trevor Sikkema of The Draft Network.
“I’ve just spoken with him briefly on social media, but he seems to be in good spirits. He’s got an incredible combination of abilities, and I believe he’ll be very legit out there. So I’m looking forward to seeing him work and learning more about how his mind operates. I believe he’ll have a fantastic first season; it’ll be fantastic.” Kittle remarked.
