A director for “When Calls the Heart,” Peter DeLuise, recently shared a behind-the-scenes photo from season 9 filming. Many fans may have missed a hidden clue regarding Lucas and Elizabeth in a scene from the Hallmark series.

During shooting, DeLuise sent a picture on Twitter with the caption “Lunch time at the Row Houses.” Many admirers, however, missed the photo’s hidden message. The vehicle belonging to Lucas is parked in front of Elizabeth’s row home.
Fans have been hoping for a photo of Lucas and Elizabeth together during season 9 shooting, but no such picture has been released yet. This picture, on the other hand, showed that Elizabeth and Lucas’ relationship is still going strong in season 9.

“That’s Lucas’ vehicle at Elizabeth’s house,” another admirer noticed. Could we have a behind-the-scenes look at Lucas and Elizabeth working together?”
Fans have joked that although Nathan has been spotted at Elizabeth’s row home on many occasions, Lucas has yet to be seen inside.
“I see a recognizable vehicle parked outside Elizabeth’s house,” one admirer speculated. “Has its owner been inside yet?”
At fact, during a live Facebook Q&A during Season 8, showrunner John Tinker discussed Lucas not having many moments with Baby Jack and not being seen in Elizabeth’s house.
Some things… slipped my notice… Chris McNally and Erin Krakow, for example, made me understand Lucas had never gone to Erin’s row home. Perhaps this is acceptable. He’s just a suitor, and he’s not seeing [incomprehensible.] But, in short, [COVID-19] did restrict us.
DeLuise also just announced on Twitter that the show’s first block was completed on August 9, after 13 days of shooting. Despite the fact that his tweet does not specify how many episodes are in the first block, he said that Siobhan Devine will oversee the second block.
He also just shared behind-the-scenes photos of Nathan and Lucas.
