The Rhesus and Memnon faction pack for the Total War Saga offers new units, strategies and a campaign to explore. The video game allows players to recreate legendary battles from ancient Greek history as they wage war against Troy using their own custom army of mythological creatures.
The “troy total war mythos” is a new faction pack that will be available to all players of the Total War Saga: Troy. This pack includes two new playable factions, The Rhesus and the Memnon.
Total War Saga: Troy’s next DLC, the Rhesus & Memnon Faction Pack, will be released in mid-December, according to publisher Sega and developer Creative Assembly.
The Rhesus & Memnon Faction Pack adds two new playable factions to Total War Saga: Troy, commanded by the Rhesus and Memnon characters. Each one has its own set of campaign mechanics, as well as a roster of no less than 49 different troops.
Rhesus’ forces, who hail from Thrace, “rely on powerful early engagements, decisive charges,” and like to battle without shields. Their higher offensive powers are compensated for by powerful charges, strong armor-piercing damage, and high morale.
Rhesus’ Countless Host mechanic on the campaign map shows him searching other Thracian tribes and striving to unify them under his own banner.
If you succeed, you’ll have access to host armies, which you may utilize to devastate enemy territory. As Rhesus pleases the ancient cults of Thrace, his Thracian Rituals mechanism offers the faction several advantages, buffs, and enables it to recruit elite soldiers.
Memnon, a distant cousin of princes Paris and Hector, is the commander of the forces of Aethiopia, a Pharaonic Egypt client state. His armies depend on “quick, lightly armored fighters with the means to remain engaged in combat,” while also taking use of the various strategic advantages of the civilizations from which they are recruited.
In terms of campaign mechanics, Memnon’s army fights as a horde, unable to occupy villages and relying on War Spoils to help them advance. The hero of Pharoah’s Servant then enacts Royal Decrees that release units from four different globe regions: Ethiopia, Egypt, Canaan, and Susa.
Memnon’s popularity draws camp followers who improve the strength of his army or offer access to special actions before combat, despite the fact that he cannot utilize Spy, Envoy, or Priestess Agents.
The release date for Total War Saga: Troy’s Rhesus & Memnon Faction Pack has been set on December 14, and it will cost £7.99/$9.99/€9.99 or your regional equivalent.
