Marvel announced that the new Miles Morales costume would be available for purchase on October 23rd. The costume was created to celebrate the character’s first appearance in the Ultimate Spider-Man comic series and is based off of her original design from 2011.
Marvel recently released a new costume for Miles Morales, the new Spider-Man. The costume is available in stores now and can be seen on the cover of their latest comic book.
Marvel has published a sneak glimpse of Miles Morales’ stunning new Spider-Man outfit, which will make its complete appearance in Miles Morales: Spider-Man #30, which will be released later this week. The new outfit is part of a wider celebration of Miles Morales’ tenth anniversary in the pages of Marvel Comics, and it is his first new costume in a long time. Chase Conley created the new outfit, and fans of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will immediately know where the inspiration for it came from. The new Miles outfit is more than just a skin-tight onesie, as it features the hero in his new signature shoes, exactly like in the Oscar-winning animated picture.
Conley said on Twitter earlier this summer, “I got the chance to redesign Miles Morales for his 10 year anniversary and I wanted to mix it up and give him a new look.” “I simply think about what looks great in motion and movement, to make him seem more like a spider, with a moving central mass and tiny limbs shooting out.” Check out the preview of the issue below, as well as some of the variations that include the outfit.
The Into the Spider-Verse impact doesn’t stop with Miles’ new style, as several of the film’s and sequel’s creatives will contribute to the new issue. Miles Co-Creator Sara Pichelli is developing a tale alongside Spider-Verse producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2 co-director Kemp Powers. In addition, Miles Morales will be featured in this issue: Spider-Man creative team Saladin Ahmed and Carmen Carnero kick off the hero’s next year of adventures. Marvel is republishing many important Miles Morales tales to commemorate the character’s 25th anniversary. Miles Morales: Marvel Tales #1 was published last month as part of a $7.99 collection that included Miles’ first appearance in Ultimate Fallout #4 and Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #1-5. Several 10th-anniversary variant covers depicting Miles appeared throughout Marvel’s comics releases in September.
